![]() ![]() ![]() Most of my favorite producers have never appeared at the concerts. Also the songs are mostly kinda mainstream, and of different genres, so depending on your tastes there might be a lot of songs that you don't care about. I think it could be an awesome experience if you can actually see the characters and get in the mood, for me it was a mediocre experience, I have to admit, and I'm a pretty big Vocaloid fan. The producers were playing right in front of me, which was a plus, though, but as said, I haven't noticed that in many of the later concerts. I was too much in the side (near the front), so most of the time the characters appeared as very transparent or even invisible to me. I can say that if you ever go to a Vocaloid concert that uses a projection similar to the one they're using now, you HAVE to be in the center if you want to see the characters. Still, I wish they wouldn't ignore the musicians completely. I can kinda understand that, the Vocaloid characters are the most important reason for the popularity anyway. So they're actually emphasizing the characters even more now. I enjoyed seeing the producers performing their own songs. I'm a bit disappointed that in the more recent concerts the band is more in the background and the producers aren't performing most of the time. I've been to both real concerts and a Vocaloid concert twice (mikupa and 39's giving day 2012). ![]()
